Welcome the Spring Equinox in an ideal environment for healing practices to cleanse the body, quiet the mind and uplift the spirit. Re-treat yourself to a transformative weekend with Tina Zymarakis dedicated to practice, reflection and purification: Friday March 20th-Sunday March 22nd. *
As the daylight hours equal and surpass the night, connect to the light within as you enjoy gourmet raw/vegan meals, healing thermal waters, the company of like-minded people and the beautiful countryside. Give yourself the chance to quiet down and restore balance to body, mind, heart and spirit.
This weekend getaway will be held at the exclusive four-star Thermae Platystomou Xenia guest house, with one of Greece’s most beautiful indoor spaces for yoga a mere 2.5 hours from Athens.
You will have the chance to join a talk and discussion on yoga philosophy & history, two sessions at the resort’s thermal pool, time for sitting in silence and a hike amongst the clear streams and the rolling hills surrounding the resort. Quiet down and restore balance to body, mind, heart and spirit.
Nourish: the three meals will be mostly raw, vegan and very delicious; those of you who were with us last year have already had the chance to enjoy Vicky’s amazing creations.
Silence: expect plenty of time for quiet introspection and reconnection; as we did last year, we will observe mouna (silence) from Saturday morning through Sunday lunchtime. Detox: on Saturday, we will observe a light fast from food and technology, allowing our digestive systems and minds the chance to replenish and renew themselves (Ayurvedic and herbal teas will be available all day).
Empty your mind whilst enjoying gentle mindfulness walks in the surrounding nature, hydromassage in the luxurious indoor hot springs pool, jacuzzi, rest and reflection.
Our accomodation will be in the recently-renovated Xenia’s beautiful semiprivate rooms with en-suite bathrooms (the center is a ten minute walk from the hustle and bustle from the main resort); if you do not have a roommate, you will be paired with someone on the retreat.
Double occupancy, 160euros for deposits before March 15, 180 thereafter. Use of room as single occupancy: please add 50e to your costs. Included: Two nights in the comfortable Xenia guest house, use of the hotel’s thermal springs pool, three amazing raw buffet feasts, nature walks, philosophy talk, four yoga classes, Saturday’s yoga nidra and morning meditation sessions. Rate for non-practicing partner: 130 (includes 2 nights accommodation, 3 meals, 2 spa visits). Deposit of 60e or payment in full required to reserve your spot. Immerse yourself in the loving embrace of nature, soothing silence and healing waters, as we reconnect to the the light within and return home with a lighter and more spacious body, heart and spirit.
